How the calculators work
Calculators run in your browser, and what you type stays there unless you copy a link, which puts the inputs in that link. Every formula has automated tests against cases worked out by hand or against published values, such as the textbook Black-Scholes result for a $100 stock. Each calculator page lists what its result leaves out.
Rule-driven pages state the date we last checked them and link to the source, which is FINRA, the IRS or the regulation itself. If you find a mistake, please email contact@daytradingprofitcalculator.com with the page and the inputs.
Market data
The calculators work entirely from numbers you type. On options calculators, an optional panel can load option prices from Massive.com when that service answers. Those quotes may be delayed, and if the service fails the panel disappears and the calculator still works.
How the site makes money
The site shows Google AdSense ads, and some links are affiliate links that may pay us a commission if you open an account or buy something. Those links are marked where they appear, and they do not change any calculation.

We are not a broker, an investment adviser or a tax preparer, and nothing here tells you to buy or sell a security. Read the disclaimer before you rely on a result.
